Rev-Eng-d of the Eraser

 I have selected a mechanical eraser!

 

I chose this object because it is fairly easy to dissect and put back together. Some of the components on the inside are more complex - as seen in the photos - and I feel like it would be complicated enough to give me a challenge but wouldn't be too outrageous. 

There's a combination of text, repetitive patterns and circular parts; I can start to guess what kind of tools I would use to make it if I extrapolated from what I learned with the previous projects (extrude, revolve, array, polylines, boolean union/difference, etc)

Castle of King Wormy

This is the castle I created. Below is a description of my process, the challenges I've faced and how I overcame them :) I started off with a great start! Made some basic shapes (squares and circles) - extruded, capped and layered them to create the base of my castle.  I also started to use the loft tool to create a tapered effect with the central building. At this point I finished up with the loft tool and I finished making the extra tower, using the alt function to duplicate the tower. I started expanding on the base and used the BooleanDifference function to remove the center on the circle I extruded previously. I kept my polylines in the back in case I needed to use them as a reference in the possible future. Here I started playing with the design of what It would potentially look like.
