Refined Unconventional Eyewear Concept : Dual Disco Glasses

In class we kind of talked about all the designs I had created but only two sketches stood out to me and everyone else: the disco one ( number 3) and the two person one (number 10). Number 3 was maybe too ambitious to do considering the speakers, lights and the revolving disco balls. Number 10 was maybe a little too plain and someone else had already thought of it so I decided to mash the two up together to create a two person disco.

So the concept is designed to be a disco for two! I will create a 70's environment within this unconventional eyewear piece including a bunch of LED lights, a small hanging disco ball, some stickers about peace and love, and a phone holder so you can play Earth Wind & Fire for as long as you like. The piece also offers a solitude of intense eye contact between the two disco enthusiasts which touches on some interesting topics of living in a world devoid of eye contact.

Castle of King Wormy

This is the castle I created. Below is a description of my process, the challenges I've faced and how I overcame them :) I started off with a great start! Made some basic shapes (squares and circles) - extruded, capped and layered them to create the base of my castle.  I also started to use the loft tool to create a tapered effect with the central building. At this point I finished up with the loft tool and I finished making the extra tower, using the alt function to duplicate the tower. I started expanding on the base and used the BooleanDifference function to remove the center on the circle I extruded previously. I kept my polylines in the back in case I needed to use them as a reference in the possible future. Here I started playing with the design of what It would potentially look like.
