Rhino Progress - Eyewear


So I started the digitization of my dual disco sensory experience and here are a couple of screenshots of my process :)  


 As you can see I am creating my revised design. I have the measurements of my phone to fit nice and snug on the bottom panel so it has a place to act as the dance floor and the speaker :) 


Here I'm just creating smoother surfaces with the split tool.




So far there aren't any intense sections that are too difficult for me to 3D model, but who knows what might happen in the future haha.

Castle of King Wormy

This is the castle I created. Below is a description of my process, the challenges I've faced and how I overcame them :) I started off with a great start! Made some basic shapes (squares and circles) - extruded, capped and layered them to create the base of my castle.  I also started to use the loft tool to create a tapered effect with the central building. At this point I finished up with the loft tool and I finished making the extra tower, using the alt function to duplicate the tower. I started expanding on the base and used the BooleanDifference function to remove the center on the circle I extruded previously. I kept my polylines in the back in case I needed to use them as a reference in the possible future. Here I started playing with the design of what It would potentially look like.
